Willems Wonderglasses, is the completion of a life-long quest. In 1927 Wilhelm Kraft produced his first eyewear pieces and for decades he worked meticulously on creating the perfect frame. In 3rd generation, Andreas Kraft follows these roots with great passion. The lovesome details, innovation, technique and carefully selected materials are what will tell the “willems” story in each and every design.
Willems Wonderglasses are handcrafted in Japan of high-quality titanium. It takes more than one hour just to cut the main front piece from an 8mm titanium mono-block.
The frames also show a remarkable solution of the hinge with a small plate of stainless steel that gets inserted into the titanium to connect the front and sidepieces. All the frames come hand brushed with a 23K gold coating. Willems Wonderglasses are currently available in 4 styles and in 5 colorways.
The following market campaign, and video, for the 2011 collection was created and realized by Monika Menez, one of Germanys most requested artistic fashion photographers.
