The 1950s are a source of limitless inspiration, giving this new men’s design in the Gold & Wood retro line a strength and elegance that evoke both the present and the past.

The contemporary interpretation of the upper wooden bar, worked in extended curves and sharp angles stamps a genuine authority on the gentle curves framing the bottom of the lenses.

As for the materials, the generosity and warmth of glue-laminated carob or tanganyika wood lends a touch of mercy and softens strictness of the composition. Despite the oppositions of volumes and materials, expressed in a range of plain colors, duality means unity.

The Gold & wood line of rimless frames has been redesigned with new temples, a celebration of innovative designer fashion for today’s men.

A very technical design, the first version with cutout temples opening out into two solid lines which bored a longitudinal open space, worked in layers of precious wood and aluminum. An aluminum strip, visible on the edge, elegantly structures the veined or brown wood, for a perfect stylistic result.

On the horn version, the beautifully polished plates on the double-sides temples contrast light and dark shades and are joined to the edge with silversmith precision. Added to the uncompromising nature of the clean front, the strong character of the temples is a perfect embodiment of modernity.

The A Kit temples are available in 2 materials, each in 2 shades: veined carob wood, chocolate brown plain wood, laminated white horn on black horn and marbled horn on ash grey.
